These illustrations from James Chapman manage to combine some of the things I've been quite fond of to during the latter years. Art, astronomy, and language, all combined to provide rich insight of differing culture's view to the heavens, while portraying it in a funnily interesting manner.
As rich as our culture might evolve to be, it will be likely to stay encapsulated within the only single planet capable of supporting life as we know it. Or, as Carl Sagan famously dubbed it, The Pale Blue Dot.
Therefore, it might seem appropriate to welcome our travelling minds back to reality.
